Graduate students from all departments are invited to submit work–whether written or artistic, scholarly or creative–to Lights, the official journal of the University of Chicago’s Middle Eastern Studies Student Association.

Submissions must pertain to the study of the Middle (or Near) East, but may treat any historical period.
